Eligibility Criteria

OR Matriculation with a 1-2 year ITI Diploma in IT/ITES or a 3-year Diploma in Computer Engineering/CS/IT from a polytechnic.
Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must have passed Matric and 10+2 from an institution within Himachal Pradesh, unless they are Bonafide Himachalis.
Typing Speed: 30 words per minute in English OR 25 words per minute in Hindi.
Mode of Selection & Syllabus
Screening Test: A Computer Based Test (CBT) or written screening test consisting of 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) worth 120 marks. The duration is 1.5 hours.
Qualifying Marks: 45% for General category and 40% for reserved categories.
Syllabus: Includes subjects of 10+2 level, Computer Science/IT relating to the essential qualification, General Knowledge of HP, Current Affairs, Everyday Science, Logic Reasoning, Social Science, and Matric-standard English and Hindi.
Skill Test: A qualifying typing test on computer for those who pass the screening test2.

Total Fee: ₹800 (₹100 examination fee + ₹700 processing fee) for all categories.
