Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) shall be conducted for teaching subjects / categories i.e. (i) TGT(Arts) (ii) TGT(NM) (iii) TGT(Medical) (iv) JBT(v) TGT (Sanskrit) (vi) TGT(Hindi) (vii) Punjabi (viii) Urdu (IX) Special Educator TET (For Pre-Primary to Class-V) (X) Special Educator TET (For Class VI to Class XII)

Subject wise eligibility detail is as follows: –
NOTE: In case an applicant intends to appear in TET for more than one teaching category he/she shall have to submit separate online application and fee for each category.
The candidate must satisfy his/her eligibility before applying and will be personally responsible for cancellation of candidature in case if he/she is not found eligible as per the given eligibility criteria at any stage even after passing TET.

TET TGT(ARTS):

a. B.A./B. Com/ Post Graduation (Master Degree in any discipline provided that candidates should have passed their Graduation Degree in B.A./B. Com) from recognized university with at least 50% marks either in Graduation

or in Post-Graduation and 1-year Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.)/ 2-year Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.)/ Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.) from NCTE recognized institutions.

OR b. Post-Graduation (Master Degree in any discipline provided that candidates should have passed their Graduation Degree in B.A./B. Com) with a minimum 55% marks and 3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed. from NCTE recognized institutions.

OR c. Senior Secondary/10+2 with at least 50% marks and 4 year’s Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR d. Senior Secondary/10+2 with at least 50% marks and 4 year’s B.A. Education (Ed)./B.A.B.Ed.

OR e. B.A./B.Com. with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) (Special Education) f. Pursuing Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.) & having B.A./B. Com with at least 50% marks.

TGT (Non-Medical)

a. B.Sc.(Non-Medical)/ Post Graduation (M.Sc. in any Science discipline provided that candidates should have passed their Graduation Degree in B.Sc. (NM)) from a recognized university with at least 50% marks either in B.Sc (NM) or in Post-Graduation and 1-year’s Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.)/ 2-year Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.) / Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.) from NCTE recognized institutions. OR b. Post Graduation (M.Sc. in any science discipline provided that candidates should have passed their Graduation Degree in B.Sc (NM)) with a minimum 55% marks and three-year integrated B.Ed. M.Ed. from NCTE recognized institutions. OR c. Senior Secondary/10+2 in Science (Non-Medical) with at least 50% marks and 4 year’s Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). OR d. Senior Secondary/10+2 in Science (Non-Medical) with at least 50% marks and 4 year’s B.Sc(Non-Medical).Ed/ B.Sc(Non-Medical).B.Ed. OR e B.Sc (N.M) with at least 50% marks and 1 year’s Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) (Special Education). OR f Pursuing Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.) & having B.Sc.(Non-Medical)/ Post Graduation (M.Sc. in any Science stream with B.Sc. (NM)) at least 50% marks.

TGT (Medical)

a B.Sc.(Medical)/ Post Graduation (M.Sc. in any science discipline provided that candidates should have passed their Graduation Degree in B.Sc(Medical)) from a recognized university with at least 50% marks either in B.Sc(Medical) or in Post-Graduation and 1-year’s Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.)/ 2-year Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.) / Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.) from NCTE recognized institutions. OR b Post Graduation (M.Sc. in any science discipline provided that candidates should have passed their Graduation Degree in B.Sc(Medical)) with a minimum 55% marks and three-year integrated B.Ed. M.Ed. from NCTE recognized institutions. OR c. Senior Secondary/10+2 in Science (Medical) with at least 50% marks and 4 year’s Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
